The Baker’s Duck began with a simple idea — make really good pastries, fresh bread, brew really good coffee and share it with the people around you. We've always wanted to be part of the rhythm of your week, a familiar corner where the door is always open and there's always something worth stopping for. Turns out there was more to give. Same coffee, same pastries, same bread - now with a full brunch menu.

  • Yes — come in, grab a seat and stay as long as you like. The brunch menu is available from 7am until 2pm and we're open until 4pm so there's plenty of time for a coffee and something from the cabinet after that.

  • No bookings — we're walk-ins only.

  • 124 Campbell St, Toowoomba City QLD 4350 (and coming soon, a new store at 1 Railway Street, Toowoomba City)

  • Absolutely — little ones are always welcome. We have highchairs available, just ask at the counter (or grab one yourself - they’re stored right next to the retail shelf).

  • Yes — all our takeaway coffee cups and pastry boxes are eco friendly and recyclable. Our sweet and savoury pastries are available to take away in our cardboard boxes any time we're open, alongside your coffee.

    Dine in brunch dishes are served on plates with cutlery — we're not offering takeaway on the brunch menu just yet, but watch this space.

  • Our menu is built around great bread, honest ingredients and food made with care — most of it happens to suit a range of appetites. There are plenty of vegetarian options throughout the menu and most dishes can be modified to be vegan or dairy free by leaving off or swapping out a few ingredients — just ask at the counter and we'll make it work. We're not a fully gluten free kitchen just yet, but we're always evolving — watch this space. As always, we'll do our best to look after you.
